Is é an Tiarna breitheamh na gciníocha. Tabhair breith orm, a Thiarna, de réir m’fhíréantachta agus de réir an ionracais atá ionam.

Salm 7:9

Chuala an altóir féin á rá: Sea, a Thiarna Dia, a Uilechumhachtaigh, is fíor agus is cóir iad do bhreitheanna!

Apacailipsis (Taispeántadh) 16:7

Salm 7 (An Bíobla Naofa 1981)

6 go leana mo namhaid mé is go mbeire sé orm,
go ngabha sé de chosa i m’anam,
is go leaga sé m’oineach sa luaithreach.
7 Éirigh, a Thiarna, le corp feirge:
éirigh in aghaidh buile mo namhad (a Dhia liom),
dúisigh, ó d’fhógair tú breithiúnas.
8 Tagadh comhthionól na gciníocha i do thimpeall:
bí i do shuí os a gcionn in airde.
9 Is é an Tiarna breitheamh na gciníocha.
Tabhair breith orm, a Thiarna, de réir m’fhíréantachta
agus de réir an ionracais atá ionam.
10 Cuir deireadh le hurchóid na n-éagráifeach
agus daingnigh na fíréin;
os tú a thriaileann croí agus áranna,
a Dhia na fíréantachta.
11 Is é Dia mo sciath is mo dhídean
a shaorann lucht an chroí dhírigh.
12 Breitheamh ceart cóir é Dia,
Dia a smachtaíonn in aghaidh an lae.

Apacailipsis (Taispeántadh) 16 (An Bíobla Naofa 1981)

4 Dhoirt an tríú haingeal a shoitheach ar na haibhneacha agus ar na toibreacha uisce agus rinneadh fuil díobh.
5 Agus chuala mé aingeal na n-uiscí á rá: “Is cóir thú, an té atá ann, agus a bhí, ós mar seo a thug tú breith, tusa atá naofa.
6 Óir dhoirt siad fuil na naomh agus na bhfáithe, agus thug tú fuil le hól dóibh. A chonáchsan orthu!”
7 Agus chuala an altóir féin á rá: “Sea, a Thiarna Dia, a Uilechumhachtaigh, is fíor agus is cóir iad do bhreitheanna!”
8 Dhoirt an ceathrú haingeal a shoitheach ar an ngrian, agus ceadaíodh dise na daoine a loscadh le tine,
9 agus loisceadh na daoine le teann teasa, agus mhaslaigh siad ainm Dé a bhfuil cumhacht aige ar na plánna sin, ach ní dhearna siad aithrí agus glóir a thabhairt dó.
10 Dhoirt an cúigiú haingeal a shoitheach ar ríchathaoir an bheithígh, agus luigh dorchacht ar a ríocht, agus chogain daoine a dteanga le barr péine,

The Lord judges the peoples.

Psalm 7:8

I heard the altar saying, Yes, Lord God the Almighty, true and just are your judgments!

Revelation 16:7

Salm 7 (English Standard Version)

5 let the enemy pursue my soul and overtake it,
and let him trample my life to the ground
and lay my glory in the dust.
6 Arise, O Lord, in your anger;
lift yourself up against the fury of my enemies;
awake for me; you have appointed a judgment.
7 Let the assembly of the peoples be gathered about you;
over it return on high.
8 The Lord judges the peoples;
judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness
and according to the integrity that is in me.
9 Oh, let the evil of the wicked come to an end,
and may you establish the righteous—
you who test the minds and hearts,
O righteous God!
10 My shield is with God,
who saves the upright in heart.
11 God is a righteous judge,
and a God who feels indignation every day.

Apacailipsis (Taispeántadh) 16 (English Standard Version)

4 The third angel poured out his bowl into the rivers and the springs of water, and they became blood.
5 And I heard the angel in charge of the waters say,
“Just are you, O Holy One, who is and who was,
for you brought these judgments.
6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets,
and you have given them blood to drink.
It is what they deserve!”
7 And I heard the altar saying,
“Yes, Lord God the Almighty,
true and just are your judgments!”
8 The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was allowed to scorch people with fire.
9 They were scorched by the fierce heat, and they cursed the name of God who had power over these plagues. They did not repent and give him glory.
10 The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and its kingdom was plunged into darkness. People gnawed their tongues in anguish
