An Bíobla Naofa 1981

“Ach, a Thiarna liom,” arsa Maois leis an Tiarna, “ní duine dea-labhartha mé aon lá de mo shaol go dtí seo, ná ó labhair tú le do sheirbhíseach.”

Eaxodus 4:10

Nuair a bheidh sibh ar láimh, ná bígí ag fiafraí conas a labhróidh sibh nó go himníoch cad a déarfaidh sibh. Tabharfar daoibh, an uair sin féin, an rud a bheidh le rá agaibh.

Matha 10:19

Eaxodus 4 (An Bíobla Naofa 1981)

7 “Cuir do lámh ar ais i do bhrollach,” ar sé. Agus chuir sé a lámh ar ais ina bhrollach agus nuair a tharraing sé amach í, b’shiúd í slán arís mar an chuid eile dá chneas.
8 “Mura gcreidfidh siad thú,” arsa an Tiarna, “ná geilleadh don chéad chomhartha géillfidh siad don dara ceann.
9 Ach mura ngéillfidh siad do cheachtar den dá chomhartha, ná eisteacht le do ghlór, ní foláir duit taoscán uisce a thógáil on Níl agus é chaitheamh ar an talamh tirim; agus an t-uisce a thógfaidh tú ón Níl, déanfar fuil de ar an talamh tirim.”
10 “Ach, a Thiarna liom,” arsa Maois leis an Tiarna, “ní duine dea-labhartha mé aon lá de mo shaol go dtí seo, ná ó labhair tú le do sheirbhíseach; is mall mo chaint agus is righin mo theanga.”
11 “Ce chruthaigh béal an duine?” arsa an Tiarna leis, “cé dhéanann balbh é nó bodhar nó radharcach nó dall? Nach mise, an Tiarna?
12 Imigh anois mar sin; beidh mise mar thaca le do bhéal agus múinfidh mé duit a mbeidh le rá agat.”
13 Ach dúirt seisean: “Seol duine éigin eile, le do thoil a Thiarna.”

Matha 10 (An Bíobla Naofa 1981)

16 “Táim do bhur gcur uaim ar nós caorach i measc faolchúnna; dá bhrí sin, bígí chomh géarchúiseach leis an nathair nimhe agus chomh macánta leis an gcolm.
17 Seachnaígí sibh féin ar dhaoine, mar tabharfaidh siad ar láimh do na sainidríní sibh, agus sciúrsálfaidh siad ina sionagóga sibh,
18 agus seolfar i láthair gobharnóirí agus ríthe sibh mar gheall ormsa chun fianaise a thabhairt os a gcomhair agus os comhair na ngintlithe.
19 Ach nuair a bheidh sibh ar láimh, ná bígí ag fiafraí conas a labhróidh sibh nó go himníoch cad a déarfaidh sibh. Tabharfar daoibh, an uair sin féin, an rud a bheidh le rá agaibh,
20 mar ní sibhse a bheidh ag caint: is é Spiorad bhur nAthar a bheidh ag caint ionaibh.
21 Tabharfaidh an deartháir a dheartháir féin suas chun báis, agus an t-athair a pháiste féin; éireoidh an chlann amach in aghaidh a dtuismitheoirí agus básóidh siad iad.
22 Agus beidh fuath ag cách daoibh mar gheall ar m’ainmse. Ach an té a sheasfaidh amach go deireadh, sábhálfar é.

English Standard Version

Moses said to the Lord, Oh, my Lord, I am not eloquent, either in the past or since you have spoken to your servant.

Exodus 4:10

When they deliver you over, do not be anxious how you are to speak or what you are to say, for what you are to say will be given to you in that hour.

Matthew 10:19

Eaxodus 4 (English Standard Version)

7 Then God said, “Put your hand back inside your cloak.” So he put his hand back inside his cloak, and when he took it out, behold, it was restored like the rest of his flesh.
8 “If they will not believe you,” God said, “or listen to the first sign, they may believe the latter sign.
9 If they will not believe even these two signs or listen to your voice, you shall take some water from the Nile and pour it on the dry ground, and the water that you shall take from the Nile will become blood on the dry ground.”
10 But Moses said to the Lord, “Oh, my Lord, I am not eloquent, either in the past or since you have spoken to your servant, but I am slow of speech and of tongue.”
11 Then the Lord said to him, “Who has made man's mouth? Who makes him mute, or deaf, or seeing, or blind? Is it not I, the Lord?
12 Now therefore go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall speak.”
13 But he said, “Oh, my Lord, please send someone else.”

Matha 10 (English Standard Version)

16 “Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.
17 Beware of men, for they will deliver you over to courts and flog you in their synagogues,
18 and you will be dragged before governors and kings for my sake, to bear witness before them and the Gentiles.
19 When they deliver you over, do not be anxious how you are to speak or what you are to say, for what you are to say will be given to you in that hour.
20 For it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.
21 Brother will deliver brother over to death, and the father his child, and children will rise against parents and have them put to death,
22 and you will be hated by all for my name's sake. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.
