An Bíobla Naofa 1981

Dúirt Maois leis na Iosraelaigh:

Ní aon ghnó suarach a bheidh á dhéanamh agaibh, mar is é bhur mbeatha é.

Deotranaimí 32:47

Mise Alfa agus Óimige, an tús agus an deireadh. An té a bhfuil tart air tabharfaidh mé rud le hól dó in aisce ó thobar uisce na beatha.

Apacailipsis (Taispeántadh) 21:6

Deotranaimí 32 (An Bíobla Naofa 1981)

44 Tháinig Maois agus [Iósua] mac Nún agus d’aithris siad focail na laoi sin go léir i gcomhchlos an phobail.
45 Nuair a bhí an clabhsúr ag Maois ag aithris na mbriathra sin go léir do chlann Iosrael uile,
46 dúirt sé leo: “Gabhaigí chugaibh i gcochall bhur gcroí na briathra go léir a d’aithin mé daoibh inniu; ní foláir daoibh a ordú do bhur gclann briathra uile an dlí seo a choimeád le barr cúraim.
47 Óir ní aon ghnó suarach a bheidh á dhéanamh agaibh, mar is é bhur mbeatha é, agus dá bhíthin beidh fad saoil agaibh sa tír a bhfuil sibh ag dul thar Iordáin anonn lena shealbhú.”
48 Labhair an Tiarna le Maois an lá sin féin agus dúirt sé leis:
49 “Gabh suas ar Shliabh Neabó, i sliabhraon seo Abáraím, i dtír Mhóáb sall ó Ireachó; agus féach uait ar thír Chanán atáim a thabhairt mar fhearann dílis do chlann Iosrael.
50 Faigh bás ar an gcnoc ar a rachaidh tú agus cruinnítear chun do mhuintire thú, faoi mar a fuair Árón do dheartháir bás ar Shliabh Hor agus a cruinníodh chun a mhuintire é.

Apacailipsis (Taispeántadh) 21 (An Bíobla Naofa 1981)

3 Agus chuala mé guth tréan ón ríchathaoir á rá: “Féach, tá áitreabh Dé fara daoine, agus cónóidh sé ina measc, agus beidh siad ina bpobal aige, agus beidh Dia féin faru.
4 Glanfaidh sé gach deoir óna súile, agus ní bheidh an bás ann feasta, ná ní bheidh caoineadh ná olagón ná pian ann a thuilleadh, óir tá an seansaol thart.”
5 Ansin dúirt an té a bhí ina shuí sa ríchathaoir: “Féach, tá gach aon ní á dhéanamh nua agam.” Agus ar sé: “Scríobh. Óir is dílis agus is fírinneach iad na focail seo.”
6 Agus dúirt sé liom: “Tá sé curtha i gcrích. Mise Alfa agus Óimige, an tús agus an deireadh. An té a bhfuil tart air tabharfaidh mé rud le hól dó in aisce ó thobar uisce na beatha.
7 An té a bhéarfaidh bua, beidh na nithe seo mar oidhreacht aige, agus beidh mise i mo Dhia aige, agus beidh seisean ina mhac agam.
8 Ach na meatacháin, agus na mídhílsigh, lucht na truaillitheachta, agus na dúnmharfóirí, agus lucht an adhaltranais, na hasarlaíochta agus an íoladhartha, agus lucht an éithigh go léir, is é atá i ndan dóibh, a bheith sa linn tine agus ruibhe. É sin an dara bás.”
9 Ansin tháinig ceann de na haingil ag a raibh na seacht soitheach a bhí lán de na seacht bplá dheiridh agus d’agaill sé mé á rá: “Tar, agus taispeánfaidh mé duit an nuathair, céile an Uain.”

Mose said to all Israel:

It is no empty word for you, but your very life.

Deuteronomy 32:47

I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment.

Revelation 21:6

Deotranaimí 32 (English Standard Version)

44 Moses came and recited all the words of this song in the hearing of the people, he and Joshua the son of Nun.
45 And when Moses had finished speaking all these words to all Israel,
46 he said to them, “Take to heart all the words by which I am warning you today, that you may command them to your children, that they may be careful to do all the words of this law.
47 For it is no empty word for you, but your very life, and by this word you shall live long in the land that you are going over the Jordan to possess.”
48 That very day the Lord spoke to Moses,
49 “Go up this mountain of the Abarim, Mount Nebo, which is in the land of Moab, opposite Jericho, and view the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the people of Israel for a possession.
50 And die on the mountain which you go up, and be gathered to your people, as Aaron your brother died in Mount Hor and was gathered to his people,

Apacailipsis (Taispeántadh) 21 (English Standard Version)

3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.
4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”
5 And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”
6 And he said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment.
7 The one who conquers will have this heritage, and I will be his God and he will be my son.
8 But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”
9 Then came one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues and spoke to me, saying, “Come, I will show you the Bride, the wife of the Lamb.”
