60 Uden tøven iler jeg
for at holde dine befalinger.
61 Ugudeliges bånd snærer mig,
men jeg glemmer ikke din lov.
62 Ved midnat står jeg op og takker dig
for dine retfærdige bud.
63 Jeg er ven med alle, der frygter dig,
og som holder dine forordninger.
64 Herre, din godhed fylder jorden,
lær mig dine love!
65 Du har handlet godt mod din tjener
efter dit ord, Herre.
66 Giv mig dømmekraft og kundskab,
for jeg stoler på dine befalinger.

18 Se derfor til, hvordan I hører! For den, der har, til ham skal der gives; og den, der ikke har, fra ham skal selv det tages, som han mener at have.«
19 Jesu mor og brødre kom til ham, men de kunne ikke nå hen til ham for folkeskaren,
20 og der gik bud ind til ham: »Din mor og dine brødre står udenfor og vil se dig.«
21 Men han svarede dem: »Min mor og mine brødre, det er dem, der hører Guds ord og handler efter det.«
22 En dag gik Jesus om bord i en båd sammen med sine disciple, og han sagde til dem: »Lad os tage over til den anden bred af søen.« De lagde så fra land.
23 Mens de sejlede, faldt han i søvn. En hvirvelstorm fór ned over søen, og de tog vand ind og var i fare.
24 De gik da hen og vækkede ham og sagde: »Mester, Mester! Vi går under!« Han rejste sig og truede ad stormen og bølgerne; de lagde sig, og det blev blikstille.

64 The earth, O Lord, is full of your steadfast love;
teach me your statutes!
65 You have dealt well with your servant,
O Lord, according to your word.
66 Teach me good judgment and knowledge,
for I believe in your commandments.

18 Take care then how you hear, for to the one who has, more will be given, and from the one who has not, even what he thinks that he has will be taken away.”
19 Then his mother and his brothers came to him, but they could not reach him because of the crowd.
20 And he was told, “Your mother and your brothers are standing outside, desiring to see you.”
21 But he answered them,
“My mother and my brothers are those who hear the word of God and do it.”
22 One day he got into a boat with his disciples, and he said to them,
“Let us go across to the other side of the lake.”
So they set out,
23 and as they sailed he fell asleep. And a windstorm came down on the lake, and they were filling with water and were in danger.
24 And they went and woke him, saying, “Master, Master, we are perishing!” And he awoke and rebuked the wind and the raging waves, and they ceased, and there was a calm.
