Deliver me from my enemies, O Lord! I have fled to you for refuge! |

Teach me to do your will, for you are my God! Let your good Spirit lead me on level ground! |

For your name's sake, O Lord, preserve my life! In your righteousness bring my soul out of trouble! |

Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you. |

And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment: |

concerning sin, because they do not believe in me; |
